History of the Airplane Model Hawker Beechcraft Beech Jet 400:

This twin engine Turbo Fan business jet and military trainer is produced in the United States and has enjoyed a long production run in various forms. The current Hawker-Beechcraft 400 started life as the Mitsubishi MU-300 Diamond, which first flew on August 29, 1978. Beechcraft acquired the manufacturing rights from Mitsubishi in December 1985 and renamed the improved aircraft the Beechjet 400. Customer deliveries of the Beechjet began in June 1986. After the merger of Hawker and Beechchraft the aircraft continues in production today known as the Hawker 400 with total deliveries (including military aircraft) exceeding 718+.

The airframe features a low swept wing with twin rear fuselage-mounted Pratt and Whitney JT15D Turbo Fans engines. Styling features six cabin windows and a swept T-tail & tail plane with small ventral fin. Production variants have included the initial production version, the Beechjet 400, the Beechjet 400A with enhanced performance and with new EFIS. The Beechjet/Hawker T400 is the military trainer for JASDF. The same aircraft designated the Beechjet T-IA Jayhawk is used by the U.S. Air Force tanker and transport trainer program. The current variants in production, the Hawker 400XP features payload improvements, thrust reversers, and equipment enhancements.
