American Legend AL11 History :

It was a sad day when the legendary J3 Piper Cub never to be produced again. Many a pilot got their wings in that aircraft. It even served in WW II as an observation plane. The popularity and the demand for such an aircraft never left the aviation community. Along came the American Legend Aircraft Company. They saw the need for the aircraft and went back to the drawing board and kept the lines the same as the old Cub but used improved engines and hardware to produce the American Legend AL II.

Although one could never capture the history of the old Cub “The Legend Cub” is as close as it will ever get. It is most probably the most popular American made aircraft today. It’s low cost and great flying characteristics will keep it that way for years to come. The Old Piper Cub is back as the American Legend Cub.
