Cessna 210 Centurion History :

Cessna introduced the Cessna 210 Centurion in January 1957 as a truly High Performance 6 seat aircraft. The earlier Cessna 210 and 210a had 4 seats and a Continental IO-470, 260 HP engine installed. The platform contained a retractable-gear single-engine. The earlier Cessna 210 Models were essentially the Cessna 182 with a retractable gear added. Several versions of the Cessna 210 were produced, in fact 26 variants actually reached the production line.

The Cessna Model 210G was introduced in 1970 with a new wing installed. The aircraft was available in either a Turbocharged or a normally aspirated version. The Cessna 210K was really the first truly six seat model. The Cessna 210 series ended with the Cessna 207 which was an eight seat aircraft.
