Piper PA-32-Cherokee 6 History:

The Piper PA-28 Cherokee line of aircraft is a family of light aircraft designed for flight training, air taxi and personal use, built by Piper Aircraft. Its popularity needs no explanation. It was first produced in 1960 with aircraft variations still being in production with the Arrow, Archer III and the Warrior III. The aircraft are all metal construction designed as a single piston powered aircraft able to seat four.

Many variations were created by Piper within the Cherokee family by installing engines ranging from 140 to 300 hp, providing turbo charging, offering fixed or retractable landing gear, fixed-pitch or constant speed propellers. The larger, version is the PA-32 Cherokee Six which was designed with a stretched fuselage to seat six including the pilot. The PA-32 Cherokee Six is also still being produced by Piper under the model name Saratoga.
