This Custom Made Gulfstream 550 2003 Scale Model Airplane was hand crafted using the finest Philippine Mahogany available and sealed to last for generations. Working with our wide variety of blueprints and their photographs, our Factory Direct Models® master artisans created this airplane into an amazingly detailed Display Model.

This Gulfstream 550 2003 Scale Airplane has a customized detachable stand with a unique Laminated Logo and a Personalized Inscription Plate adding magnificence to this masterpiece.

Gulfstream 550 History :

The improved versions of the Gulfstream V Business Jet aircraft produced by Gulfstream Aerospace are the G500 and the G550. These aircraft were the first business jets that were built for the longer flights of 6000 nautical miles and more. The G550 has the larger cabin and less than two weeks after entering service the aircraft flew non-stop from Seoul to Orlando. A route of about 7,301 Nautical miles. It performed the flight in just about 14.5 hours.

The aircraft is powered by twin Rolls-Royce BR710 Turbo Fan engines giving the aircraft speeds at altitude of Mach .87. As a world class traveler with seating up to 18 Passengers Gulfstream incorporated all the modern up to date equipment. From the glass cockpit complete with a Heads Up Display (HUD) allowing to pilot to keep their vision on the landing area and still have all the instruments in plain view without looking down at the instrument panel. Passenger comfort was also a priority for Gulfstream on this long haul aircraft. The cabin has all the amenities for the passenger to make the flight as though they were still in their offices back home. From a Fax Machine, Printer, wireless LAN to a Satellite Connection for those fast Internet Connections it’s your office in the air. The G550 is one of the few Corporate Jets that has been honored for its work with the Robert J Collier Trophy one of the most prestigious awards in aviation today.
