| This Custom Made Learjet 24 Wooden Model Airplane was hand crafted using the finest Philippine Mahogany available and sealed to last for generations. Working with our wide variety of blueprints and their photographs, our Factory Direct ModelsŪ master artisans created this airplane into an amazingly detailed Display Model.
This Learjet 24 Wooden Airplane has a customized detachable stand and a customized laminated logo that adds beauty to this masterpiece. Learjet 24 History Produced in the United States, the Learjet 24 twin-turbojet light business jet was designed by Bill Lear originally produced in Switzerland as the SAAC-23. Production was later moved to the USA, where the initial version of the Learjet 23 was powered by a pair of GE CF610 turbojets and made its first flight on October 7,1963. Updated and replaced by a number of improved models. Final production totals for the Learjet 23 & Learjet 24 were l05 Learjet 23 & 258 Learjet 24 aircraft. With an airframe featuring a low straight wing with a tapered leading edge and tip tanks, the aircraft also had twin rear fuselage-mounted GE CJ610 turbojets, a T-tail with bullet fin fairings on the early models and three or four round or square windows in the fuselage sides. Early variants of the Learjet 23 & 24 included the original production model Learjet 23, the improved versions of the Learjet 24 with improved cruise performance. The Learjet 24B with increased thrust, the Learjet 24D with longer range and square windows, the Learjet 24E with a refined interior and enhanced aerodynamics and the final aircraft of the Learjet 24 series, the Learjet 24F with increased weight and range. |
