Arado E555 History:

The Arado E.555 was proposed by Arado in response to the Amerika Bomber project to obtain a long-range bomber aircraft for the Luftwaffe that would be capable of bombing the United States from Germany. There were a few proposed variants of the Arado E.555, the most unique being the E.555-1 which featured six jet engines with flying wing design. Abandoned before a prototype was even constructed, the project was considered too expensive to undertake.
