It was one of the most well-known warships during the World War II. Bismarck can dislodge for more than 50, 000 tons. On May 1941, during the battle of the Denmark Strait which the battlecruiser HMS Hood was sunk in less than an hour by the German Battleship. The British Prime Minister ordered to sink the Bismarck in order to tracking down by the Royal Navy. The British aircraft attacked the ship and jammed the rudder. On May 27 1941, Bismarck was seriously damaged for about several hours before sinking. |
