Beechcraft King Air 250 History

The Beechcraft King Air 250 is a twin-turboprop medium-range business aircraft and is the latest upgraded variant of the King Air 200 that has been in continuous production since 1974, the longest production run of any civilian turboprop aircraft in its class. This airplane has a cruise speed of 310 knots and can operate at an altitude of up to 35,000 feet. It has a range of up to 1610 nautical miles with a maximum fuel load and can accommodate ten passengers with a crew of one. The King Air 250 upgraded variant incorporates composite winglets which increases lift and reduces drag and stall speed. It also features composite propellers that weigh 60 pounds less than the aluminium props they replaced and increases performance as well as an 18% reduction in takeoff roll. The new Pratt and Whitney Canada PT6A-52 engines have a newly designed ram air recovery system that reduces inlet turbine temperatures which allows the engines to maintain peak performance even when the anti-icing system is activated. The combination of new engines, composite winglets, and composite propellers has improved this aircrafts takeoff performance, increased speed, range, and climb rate. This airframe also features higher wing loading for a smoother flight. The Beechcraft King Air 250 can takeoff in about 2,100 feet which opens airports inaccessible to previous King Air?s and off limits to business jets.

Testimonials

Mike, I received the Challenger 604 M-VICA model. It is beautiful. What a way to memorialize that repossession event that brought the British Emergency Terrorist Response Team to the airport and shut down the airspace. I posted a few pictures of it on my FB Page Facebook here is an article about the event Daily Mail UK So far I have received several favorable comments Thank you so much Kevin Lacey

The model looks like it belongs in a museum. Largely due to the way you have openly communicated with me during the entire process. I have sent out your information via email throughout Pentagon as well as to friends stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. I will continue to pass your information to others so that your efforts and the artist's works are acknowledged.

Thanks much,
Jay Williams
