My name is Donivan Godsil. After years of seeing custom model airplanes offered online, and the regular "production planes" available from business online... I finally bit the bullet and had your company build me a model of the club plane of which I fly.

I'm a member of the Monmouth Flying Club, out of Monmouth, Illinois. We are a small club, with a 1975 Cessna 172N Skyhawk. We have had the plane two years. I sent in several photos to you along with my deposit... and today, FedEx brought me one of the most amazing pieces of art I've ever seen.

I'm a perfectionist, and even if I WANTED to critique this model in any negative way... I COULDN'T! The lines are straight, there were no smudges in paint, no fingerprints, everything was even, the detail was remarkable. The stand the plane sits on is even beautiful.

I showed it to my instructor, and he couldn't even find a detail looked over.... This is simply perfect. Your worker's craftsmanship is amazing. The prices are right, and the wait is more than worth it. This is a museum quality model.

I want to send you a note of gratitude and thanks for such an outstanding job on the Cessna 177 I ordered for my father-in-law. Not only was it a beautiful model, but he absolutely loved it! My wife and I caught him just starring at it a couple of times. The detail was very good and the colors were perfect.

I did notice the shipment was from Angeles City; in 1988 or '89, I was in Angeles City and purchased an Army UH-60, and an Army C-12 with specific colors and numbers. The quality was not nearly as good as the Cessna.

After being in this business for over thirty years my expectations are seldom met and virtually never exceeded. Well, this model definitely exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The attention to detail, color matching, paint scheme and workmanship are the best I have ever seen. The model is an exact replica of the real one right down to the blade antennaes and pitot tubes.

In addition everything happened just as you said it would. It was built, shipped and arrived on the schedule you gave me in the begining.

Now to the model itself, this is no ordinary mass produced product. It is a very high quality and detailed model with accuracy only a carefully researched custom model builder could have produced.

During 1967-1969 I was assigned to the 552nd Wing at Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand. We flew these aircraft for MIG hunting, surveillance etc. I know this aircraft. This particular model bears the tail number 53-0555. I actually maintained that aircraft. Not just one like it, BUT IT. The detail is astounding. The paint color is perfect, as if you had a bucket of govt. paint. The de-icer boots are correctly placed and painted black where they should be. The tail number is correct. This one is actually a historically significant one. The aircraft displays the Air Force "Outstanding Unit Citation" ribbon. The model also has the correct windows/doors and front wheel well markings.

Thereafter the communications to me were clear and understandable. I sent in a number of detailed photographs of custom paint work, and I have been amazed at how well these details were accomplished on the model. The photographs sent to me for approval were extremely helpful. I sent those photos to my partner in this aircraft, and to the U.S.Sales representative for Skylark. They were very impressed, and if there is a substantial discount for a duplicate, I would consider ordering another one - even two. I have already recommended your services to a fair number of my aviation friends.
