I just wanted to tell you again, how much your sending your photograph means to me. I printed it out—it will be displayed with the model in its place of honor…

It gives me an idea of your workplace as well as in who you are. It means something to know the faces and the kind and good artists who are behind the creation of this model. It gives the model life and meaning—in that small aircraft, there is a part of each of your precious souls, your caring, your compassion and your hard and heart-felt work, and that means to me more than you will ever know, especially considering how much I loved the Philippines when I had the opportunity to visit your beautiful country.

When I look at my new Avanti, I will think of all ten of you, of how you put your hearts and souls into this, and I am most deeply honored at the beautiful work you have done for me.

I only hope the price I paid for it was enough to help you and your families at least find a small fraction of the happiness you have brought to me.
